Innovation and collaborative Research @AGSRT
Developing real-world experience using GIS and Remote Sensing is a necessity for finding a geospatial job after completing coursework. Most entry-level GIS (jobs have the title technician, specialist, and analyst) positions require some previous research/project experience. The best way to develop GIS and RS work experience, build on the spatial concepts is through an internship. In a novice position, interns acquire hands-on knowledge of geospatial technologies under the mentorship of more experienced GIS trainers.
