Certificate Course in GIS Desktop - Basic

ArcGIS/Q-GIS, Microstations are GIS is the most popular software available to perform any GIS type work. This course is geared toward understanding the fundamental concepts of:

Geographic Information Science, Remote Sensing, and Cartography.

Geoprocessing, Geo-referencing, and Spatial Analysis.

Extracting information from spatial imagery and Topo Maps.

Analyze spatial data   

The candidate(s) will be made familiar with the fundamental concepts of GIS, remote sensing, and definitions such as spatial imagery, digital image, and digital image processing/analysis, etc. amongst others. Different variety of spatial data will be introduced and worked upon. Introduction to spatial analysis will provide an understanding for opting appropriate analysis tools for a specific project.

Course Objective and Outcome

On completion the successful student will:

  • Be proficient in using ArcMap & QGIS, LPS, and Microstation.

  • Be able to reference images, digitize features (Create & Edit).

  • Understand and be able to extract pertinent information.

  • Know about the potential of and the procedures of spatial analysis.

  • Be able to make maps for publishing.

Total Duration:- 30Days (2 Hrs Monday To Friday

Bangalore - Classroom + Practicals.

Online - Live Online Classes. Daily 2 Hrs(Need to have a laptop or Computer with Good Internet)
